It was a good run, but Johnson unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks. If the Governors were looking for revenge after losing 12-2 to the Hawks when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Johnson now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Robbinsdale Cooper, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnson will challenge Como Park at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.11 runs per game on average), something the Governors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Robbinsdale Cooper, they will take on St. Paul Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
