Mount Calvary Christian is on a six-game streak of home losses (dating back to last season), the Saints a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Mount Calvary Christian Warriors will take on the Scotland Christian Academy Saints at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Mount Calvary Christian came up short against the Conquerors and fell 45-34.
Meanwhile, Scotland Christian Academy strolled past the Eagles with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 60-43.
Scotland Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jeffrey St.Onge led the charge by scoring 23 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. St.Onge hasn't dropped below 17 points for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Tavon Farmer, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Mount Calvary Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Scotland Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.
Mount Calvary Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Saints in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 76-72 win.
