In what's become a running theme this season, the Victory Christian Lions gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They really took it to Ragland for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-21 victory on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Victory Christian has posted since December 4, 2023.
Leading Victory Christian to victory were William Wilson-Hueter and Peyton Scott. Wilson-Hueter dropped a double-double on 13 points and 25 rebounds, while Scott scored 21 points along with six steals. Scott is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Caleb Wilson, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Victory Christian has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Ragland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.
Victory Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Appalachian at 7:00 p.m. As for Ragland, they will head out on the road to square off against Jefferson Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson Christian Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
