The St. Anthony Bulldogs can now show off 16 landslide victories after their most recent game on Saturday. They breezed by Pana on the road to the tune of 79-34. Winning may never get old, but St. Anthony sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Despite the loss, Pana still got an impressive performance from Lilly Rochkes, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rochkes has scored all season.
St. Anthony has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for Pana, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 17 of their last 20 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-22 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Anthony will take on North Clay/Clay City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Clay/Clay City has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Pana, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Newton at 5:30 p.m. on January 29th. Newton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Pana in Illinois (Newton is ranked 188th, while Pana is ranked 503rd).
