In other batting news, Jessica Bain was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Garrison, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
P.K. Yonge hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 3-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
North Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for P.K. Yonge, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.
Tuesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. North Marion has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .439. However, it's not like P.K. Yonge struggles in that department as they've averaged .433. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
