P.K. Yonge hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 3-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
North Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for P.K. Yonge, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.
Tuesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. North Marion has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .439. However, it's not like P.K. Yonge struggles in that department as they've averaged .433. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
