Kellam put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their match with ease, bagging a 62-34 win over the Phoebus Phantoms. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Kellam's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Phoebus, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kellam will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Salem at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Kellam knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Salem likes a good challenge. Phoebus will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Churchland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Churchland has four straight wins, Phoebus has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
