Santa Rosa Academy extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jacob Goode. The Rangers took down the Riverside Prep Silver Knights 28-12 on Thursday for which the team can thank Goode, who rushed for 194 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 119 yards and one TD on only nine passes. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 103.4 rushing yards per game.

One reason for the win was Santa Rosa Academy's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. In that department, Luke Hamilton was the leader with two.

Santa Rosa Academy's record is now 5-1. As for Riverside Prep, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Santa Rosa Academy will challenge Temecula Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Riverside Prep, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Trinity Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
