Last Friday, South Callaway put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against Bowling Green as the squad secured a 50-6 win.
Clopton/Elsberry won against Van-Far/Community two weeks ago with 50 points, and Clopton/Elsberry decided to stick to that point total again. Clopton/Elsberry got past Wright City with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 50-46. Yes, you read that final score correctly. Yes, this was football.
Their wins bumped Clopton/Elsberry to 3-2 and South Callaway to 4-1. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Clopton/Elsberry and South Callaway will really light up the scoreboard.
