The Churchville-Chili Saints are taking a road trip to square off against the Victor Blue Devils at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Churchville-Chili is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
Churchville-Chili fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Spencerport on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Rangers by a score of 6-5. The Saints haven't had much luck with the Rangers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Bailey DiGiacomo spent all 7.1 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Churchville-Chili saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlyn Pozzuolo, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Pozzuolo has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.
Meanwhile, Victor was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over Brockport. Considering Victor has won five matches by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Izzy Law looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ryleigh Fontana, who went 3-for-5 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Abby Harris was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Victor kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are 5-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Victor has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Churchville-Chili, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
Churchville-Chili might still be hurting after the 17-2 loss they got from Victor in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Saints avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
