Deerfield had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. On Friday, they came up short against Three Lakes/Phelps, falling 8-20. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Deerfield off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Three Lakes/Phelps a 1-0 record.
Next week, Deerfield take on Brookfield Academy at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair. As for Three Lakes/Phelps, they will face of against Crivitz.
