On Friday, Twin Lakes came up short against Boone Grove and fell 26-13.
Boone Grove's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mark Rowland led the charge by throwing for 210 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75.8% of his passes. Rowland is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Chad Kackos, who gained 105 total yards and a touchdown.
Twin Lakes' loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 5-5. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Boone Grove, West Lafayette, and Hamilton Heights. As for Boone Grove, the win was the fifth in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
Twin Lakes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Boone Grove will head out on the road to face off against Hanover Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hanover Central is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
