 Despite the  loss, Todd County Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  John Ross Cardwell  went 7 of 13  on his way to 16  points along with seven  boards and three  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most  points  Cardwell has scored all season.  Antavion Shemwell was another key player,  putting up six points.
Jo Byrns' win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Todd County Central, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the  defeat, which was their eighth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Jo Byrns will welcome Greenbrier  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Todd County Central, they and Ballard Memorial will face off  at 6:30  p.m.  on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
