Gillespie and Auburn are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. Gillespie will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Auburn at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Gillespie proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by seven) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Carrollton 13-11. The win continues a trend for the Miners in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won four in a row.
