Southwest SD heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Friday. They fell just short of La Jolla by a score of 12-10. The Raiders have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Romina Diaz and Aketzalli Rodriguez did some serious damage despite the final result: Diaz went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double, while Rodriguez got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs and one double. Samantha Ramirez was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Crawford came into Friday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out High Tech SD 11-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Colts have posted since March 5th.

Southwest SD's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Crawford, their win bumped their record up to 6-15.
