The American History Bald Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight defeat. They received a tough blow as they fell 72-55 to Bloomfield. American History was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bengals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2018.
American History lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Edgar De Los Santos, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ahmad Woodard, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
American History's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Bloomfield, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-13.
American History will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Indians at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th. Weehawken has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 332 points over their last five matches. As for Bloomfield, they and the Terries will face off at 4:00 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Newark Tech is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
