They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Asheville School (Independent) 76-40 at home. The victory was nothing new for High Point Christian Academy as they're now sitting on six straight.
Kylie Torrence was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 20 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below 15points for 11 straight games. Another player making a difference was Courtney Taylor, who scored 16 points.
When it comes to explaining why Asheville School (Independent) lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ryann Hernandez. Despite the final result, she scored 23 points along with four steals. That was a full 57.5% of Asheville School (Independent)'s points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
High Point Christian Academy's win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.72 points. As for Asheville School (Independent), they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-4 record this season.
