Volleyball Recap: Princeton Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Victory

Princeton waltzed into their contest on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Mercer County Golden Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2019.

Caroline Keutzer paced Princeton's offense, picking up eight kills. Keutzer got some help from Makayla Hecht and her 17 assists. Finally, Keighley Davis kept Princeton's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Despite the loss, Mercer County still got an impressive performance from Lilli Nylin, who had 12 digs.

Princeton's victory bumped their record up to 18-13. As for Mercer County, they moved to 15-15 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

Princeton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Mendota on the 14th. As for Mercer County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Rockridge on the 14th.
