Towson faced Archbishop Spalding in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Generals came out on top against the Cavaliers by a score of 7-3. The Generals haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Towson's victory bumped their record up to 30-10. As for Archbishop Spalding, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-8.

Coming up, Towson will face off against Overlea on Saturday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.06 runs per game on average), something the Generals will no doubt try to take advantage of. Archbishop Spalding does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
