The Miramonte Matadors can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Monday. They blew past Berean Christian 87-43 at home. With Miramonte ahead 45-19 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
It was another big night for Marcus Robinson, who scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Bastani, who scored 13 points.
Miramonte is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Berean Christian, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.
Miramonte will head out on the road to square off against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Alhambra focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Monday. As for Berean Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Bears at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in California (Concord is ranked 959th, while the Eagles are ranked 956th).
