The Stigler Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Heavener 65-37 at home. The team's offensive explosion also rewarded Stigler with their most commanding win of the season.
Despite the loss, Heavener still got an impressive performance from Jackson Clubb, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. Clubb is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Zaid Rodriguez, who scored eight points.
Stigler's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Heavener, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stigler will stay at home for another game and welcome Hartshorne at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Heavener will take on Panama at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Heavener focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
