The Federal Hocking Lancers typically have all the answers at home, but on Wednesday the Frontier Cougars proved too difficult a challenge. They took down the Lancers 42-28. The win was nothing new for Frontier as they're now sitting on three straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Frontier to victory, but perhaps none more so than Morgan Haught, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Anna Bowersock was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Frontier has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Federal Hocking, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4.
Frontier will take on Shenandoah at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Shenandoah focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Wednesday. As for Federal Hocking, they will head out on the road to face off against Southern at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Southern will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 676th, while Federal Hocking is ranked 202nd).
