Tyler Hinrichs posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in ten consecutive appearances.

Hinrichs' strong effort led St. Bernard over South Fork and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Crusaders are a perfect 10-0 against the Cubs going back to March of 2023, a lead they'll look to extend.
