Morton/White Pass extended the longest winning streak in 2B Central this week by beating Mossyrock, 33-7. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Timberwolves.
Pe Ell and Toutle Lake played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Pe Ell eventually emerging with a 6-3 victory.
Rylon Kolb and Brian Reynolds gave Morton/White Pass a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Kolb threw for 122 yards and one touchdown, while Reynolds ran for 86 yards. Gianni Bertucci also contributed to the rushing game with 44 yards on the ground.
Chace Nichols was the best wideout in the league this week as the Vikings lost to Aaron Poquette's team. Nichols tallied one reception for 59 yards.
Morton/White Pass' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Timberwolves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kolb has thrown for 822 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Ben Powell has 13 catches for 284 yards. Reynolds leads the league in rushing with 1003 yards.
Mossyrock's Kyler Hazen needs only nine yards against Willapa Valley next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 182 carries Hazen has accumulated 991 yard this year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Wahkiakum takes on the Trojans. As it stands, the Mules are in second, while Pe Ell is in seventh.
