Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, Ga.) snapped the 11-game winning streak of
Athens Academy (Athens, Ga.), with a 24-7 victory on Saturday.
The Wolverines were up 14-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Carl Mattox in the first quarter.
Prince Avenue Christian saw its 14-point halftime lead fall to 10 entering the fourth.
PAC's most effective player was
Bryce Huff. He ran for one touchdown.
Austin Schulte made a difference for the Spartans. The senior quarterback ran for one touchdown.
Athens Academy's lone touchdown came on a 3-yard run by Schulte in the third quarter.
The Wolverines came into the game allowing 12.5 points per game.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 18-0 win for Prince Avenue Christian.
