Easton Palmer and Grant Unruh provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Hoisington. The longest such play in Mid-Central this season, the connection resulted in 13 yards.
The Cardinals led the league in scoring this week after putting up 60 points on Larned/Pawnee Heights. Hagan Hanzlick threw for 105 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 190 yards in the win.
Hoisington's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Avery Urban helped Hoisington's passing attack out by catching one ball for 17 yards.
Jacob Durrett was the best wideout in the league this week as Jason Ingram's team defeated the Indians. Durrett tallied one reception for 68 yards.
Trevor Williams made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Cardinals beat Larned/Pawnee Heights. The senior racked up 4.5 sacks.
Larned/Pawnee Heights' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Palmer has thrown for 850 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Jamil Shoemaker has 20 catches for 351 yards. Brady Keith leads the league in rushing with 885 yards.
