The Providence Prep Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 25 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Holy Trinity Catholic 74-47 on the road. Providence Prep's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Clark Morrison continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 32 points along with six assists and five steals. Those 32 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Asa Jackson, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds.
The win was the fifth in a row for Providence Prep, bringing their record for this year to 7-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for Holy Trinity Catholic, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Coincidentally, Providence Prep and Holy Trinity Catholic will both be playing Italy the next time they take the court. Providence Prep will head out to face Italy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Holy Trinity Catholic will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on December 27th.
