Trinity Christian won against Gatewood  last Tuesday with five  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Thursday. The Trinity Christian Crusaders came out on top against the Wheeler County Bulldogs by a score of  5-1. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Crusaders.
  Allie Baggett was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits. Baggett was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-3 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Madelyn Dailey was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.  Madison Lowery was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 Trinity Christian  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  struck out at most five  strikeouts in six consecutive  games  dating back to last season.
 Trinity Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0.
 Trinity Christian will venture away from home to  square off against Thomas Jefferson Academy  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Wheeler County, they will head out to  face off against Northside  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Wheeler County is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
