Crawford County's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nash Stroud, who scored 6 points along with 12 rebounds. Tanner Conrad was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Mitchell now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Crawford County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Mitchell will be playing at home against Eastern Greene at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Eastern Greene will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 218th, while Mitchell is ranked 104th). As for Crawford County, they will head out on the road to face off against Clarksville at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
