Mercer Island's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tristen Cruzen, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Will Mcdonald, who scored 13 points.
Mercer Island dropped their record down to 13-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lake Washington, their victory bumped their record up to 14-10.
Mercer Island is on the road again on Saturday and plays Rainier Beach at 7:00 p.m. on February 10th. Rainier Beach has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 419 points over their last six matchups. As for Lake Washington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Nathan Hale at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Washington (Nathan Hale is ranked 87th, while Lake Washington is ranked 85th).
