Derrick Boston was on fire: he scored 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nasir May, who scored 13 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Horace Mann UCLA Community and bumps their season record up to 9-6. As for Animo South Los Angeles, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
Horace Mann UCLA Community will be playing at home against Foshay at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Animo South Los Angeles, they will head out on the road to take on Larchmont Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Larchmont Charter is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
