Jackson found their leader in underclassman Angel Powell, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds. Jazmine Jones was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven assists.
Clarke County's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-7. As for Jackson, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.
