It was a good run, but the St. Clairsville Red Devils unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Union Local by a score of 79-76. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Union Local's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Easton Ditzler, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Moore, who scored 17 points along with five assists and three steals.
St. Clairsville's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5. As for Union Local, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
St. Clairsville will head out on the road to face off against the Potters at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union Local, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
