Among those leading the charge for Morris Catholic was junior Jeff Chaplin, who passed for 194 yards and 3 touchdowns. Chaplin has been a consistent playmaker for Morris Catholic as this was the 5th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Marist, and their matchup last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to four. They ended up forfeiting their match against Hudson Catholic 0-2.
Morris Catholic's victory lifted them to 3-3 while Marist's loss dropped them down to 0-4. We'll see if Marist are able to find more success (and make for a more exciting contest than their last) when the teams meet up.
