After flying high against Sandusky last Tuesday, Edison came back down to earth. The Edison Chargers came up short against the Mansfield Christian Flames on Thursday, falling 3-0. Edison's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7-1. As for Mansfield Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-1-2 record this season.
Edison will stay at home for another game and welcome Port Clinton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mansfield Christian has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Villa Angela-St. Joseph on the 12th.
