Thackerville added to the longest winning streak in C District 4 (8 Man) this week by beating Webbers Falls, 46-16. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Wildcats.
Arkoma made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 476 from 668. The improvement was largely due to a 48-0 victory over Southwest Covenant last week.
Floyd House made the biggest impact on defense this week as Sasakwa topped Welch. The 5-foot-7 senior recorded 1 fumble.
Tanner Sweeten was the best wideout in the league this week as the Mustangs bested the Patriots. Sweeten tallied 5 receptions for 128 yards. Tyree Noldon helped Arkoma's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 78 yards.
Arkoma's Ethann Gates and Sweeten led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Gates has thrown for 1,136 yards this season, while Sweeten has 32 catches for 806 yards. The Vikings' Cody Harjo leads the league in rushing yards with 712.
A big matchup in C District 4 (8 Man) this week will be when Mark Weatherton's team takes on Midway. At the moment, the Mustangs are in fifth, while the Chargers are in seventh.
Sasakwa led the league in scoring this week after putting up 72 points on the Wildcats. Harjo ran for 123 yards in the win.
