After soaring to 39 points the game before, Kaplan faltered in their contest on Friday. On Friday, they came up short against Notre Dame, falling 6-20. If Kaplan were expecting to get some payback for the 6-35 defeat against Notre Dame the last time they met, then they were left disappointed.
The loss dropped Kaplan's record to 2-3. The win bumped Notre Dame's record up to 5-0.
Next week Kaplan take on Abbeville at 7:00 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match. As for Notre Dame, they will face off against Kinder. Both of those teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous games.
