It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Castaic Coyotes had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They walked away with a 56-48 win over the C-Hawks. The win was some much needed relief for Castaic as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
Despite the loss, California Lutheran still got an impressive performance from Ethan Ash, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 15 rebounds. Ash hasn't dropped below ten rebounds for four straight games.
Castaic now has a winning record of 15-14. As for California Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.
Castaic will face off against Montclair at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Montclair will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Castaic surely won't give up without a fight. California Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
