Chambers/Wheeler Central/Ewing had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 26-14 victory over Stuart.
The contest started off well for Chambers/Wheeler Central/Ewing, whose offense put up 20 first-half points. Meanwhile, Stuart couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 20-0 heading into the break. Chambers/Wheeler Central/Ewing were outperformed in the second half 6-14 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The win got them back to even at 3-3. The defeat dropped Stuart's record to 2-4.
Next week Chambers/Wheeler Central/Ewing take on Central Valley at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. As for Stuart, they will face off against Twin Loup. Twin Loup are limping into the match on a five-game losing streak.
