Enterprise has gone 8-2 against Wesson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets will head out to square off against the Cobras at 7:00 p.m. Enterprise is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
Enterprise managed to slip by Puckett the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Wolves on Saturday, falling 12-1. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Enterprise saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ripken Powell, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
Meanwhile, Wesson suffered their biggest defeat since April 29, 2025 on Friday. They lost 15-6 to Loyd Star. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Cobras, who until this game were averaging 3.47 runs allowed.
Baylor Smith was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Blayten Windom was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Enterprise's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Wesson, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 13-3-1.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Enterprise has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .433. However, it's not like Wesson struggles in that department as they've averaged .458. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Enterprise beat Wesson 9-4 in their previous matchup back in February of 2025. Will the Yellowjackets repeat their success, or do the Cobras have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
