The Perry Bluejays lost against the South Hamilton Hawks back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Perry took a hard 45-26 fall against South Hamilton. Perry has not had much luck with South Hamilton recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Despite the loss, Perry still got an impressive performance from Taryn Nehring, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for South Hamilton, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perry will take on Prairie City-Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Prairie City-Monroe is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. South Hamilton on the road again on Thursday and play against South Hardin at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. South Hardin is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
