For the second straight game, Arcadia will face off against Cactus Shadows. Arcadia will take on Cactus Shadows at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Arcadia is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Arcadia didn't have quite enough to beat Cactus Shadows and fell 3-2. The Titans have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

For Cactus Shadows' part, Molly Brown spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits. Brown has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brynna Hoy, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Bailey Fitzmaurice was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Hoy wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Cactus Shadows kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Arcadia only managed four hits.

Cactus Shadows has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. Arcadia's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1.

Thursday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Arcadia hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .341. However, it's not like Cactus Shadows struggles in that department as they've averaged .348. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
