Ashley scored 17 points along with seven assists and five rebounds, while Durden scored 13 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Williams, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Southwest Georgia Academy now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Fullington Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5.
Southwest Georgia Academy will take on Georgia Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Georgia Christian is ranked 247th, while Southwest Georgia Academy is ranked 223rd). As for Fullington Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Crisp Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Crisp Academy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
