The Bellevue Christian Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Chimacum Cowboys at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Chimacum will be up against a hot Bellevue Christian team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Vikings never let Vashon Island get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Saturday. Considering the Vikings have won five games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Mason Hill made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Hill was also big at the plate, earning one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.

Those three stolen bases gave Vlahovich a new career-high. Ryan Salazar was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
Bellevue Christian hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Chimacum can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game last Saturday. They blew past South Whidbey 15-0.
Bellevue Christian's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Chimacum, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-8.
Bellevue Christian took their victory against Chimacum when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
