Bloom gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They came out on top against the Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals by a score of 2-0. The Blazing Trojan haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Bloom easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19.

Looking ahead, Bloom will square off against Argo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blue Island Eisenhower, they will welcome Thornton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
