This season hasn't been kind to DuBois Christian, who are still winless after their fourth game. They took a 52-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Calvary Christian Academy on Tuesday. If DuBois Christian was looking for revenge after losing 62-54 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Leading Calvary Christian Academy to victory were Jackson Suttles and Tyrell Lapp. Suttles scored 15 points along with six steals, while Lapp dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Lapp has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Micah Lloyd, who scored six points along with five rebounds and four steals.
DuBois Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Calvary Christian Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
DuBois Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Calvary Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Blair County Christian is on a three-game streak of home wins, the Conquerors a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
