The Gridley Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Paradise Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Gridley will be strutting in after a victory while Paradise will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Gridley's game was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Oroville by a score of 15-7. The win was just what Gridley needed coming off of a 27-7 loss in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Paradise unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They were outmatched by Orland at home and fell 63-6. Paradise was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-6.
Gridley's victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 4-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.0 points per game. Having lost for the first time this season, Paradise fell to 6-1.
