Loudonville and the Bulldogs are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Loudonville Redbirds will head out on the road to challenge the Crestline Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Loudonville is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Loudonville took a serious blow against the Cubs, falling 82-54. While losing is never fun, Loudonville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 779th, while the Cubs are ranked 387th).
Meanwhile, Crestline's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They suffered a tough 56-32 loss at the hands of Ridgedale.
Loudonville has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Crestline, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.
Loudonville strolled past the Bulldogs when the teams last played back in January by a score of 83-68. The rematch might be a little tougher for Loudonville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
