The Douglas County Tigers and the Troup County Tigers will face off at 4:30 p.m. on December 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The pair are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.
Douglas County pushed their score all the way to 74 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of New Faith Christian Academy by a score of 77-74. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Thursday (55), Douglas County still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Troup County had to settle for a 52-50 defeat against M.L. King on Thursday.
Douglas County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Troup County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
