Indian Rocks Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anderson Dumm, who rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown. Dumm's longest rush was for an incredible 82 yards. Anthony Harris was in the mix too, providing Indian Rocks Christian with two touchdowns.
When it comes to explaining why LaBelle lost, one person who can't be blamed is Isaac Santamaria. Despite the final result, he rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 80 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Sincere Bradford, who picked up 80 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Indian Rocks Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for LaBelle, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 6-3.
Indian Rocks Christian will head out on the road to face off against Tarpon Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tarpon Springs is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games. LaBelle will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on North Port at 12:00 p.m. on November 11th.
