For Vallivue's part,  Maris Farner was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run over six innings pitched. Farner has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Sophia Kassotis was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with four  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  four  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Abbie Egglston, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Emmett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vallivue, they will take on Bishop Kelly at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
